Professional Inventory Creation Guide

Follow these guidelines when creating inventory entries on PutForShare.

One Book Per Inventory​

Always add one book per inventory entry.

This makes it easier for people to buy because the cost of one book is lower when compared with the cost of an entire bundle.

Inventory Photo Guidelines​

Only the inventory item should be visible in the photo.

Try to avoid any other objects that may distract the buyer, such as:

  • Phone
  • Face
  • Hand
  • Any unrelated object

What Happens if These Guidelines Are Not Followed?​

Inventory entries that contain more than one book or more than one product may be blocked and de-listed.

What Should You Do if You Already Created Inventory With Multiple Books?​

If you have already created an inventory entry that contains more than one book, edit the inventory and update it so that it represents one product only.

Make sure the following details match the single product being listed:

  • Product title
  • Product image
  • Product price

Create separate inventory entries for any additional books or products.
